Since I was a little boy, growing up in Taiwan, I was always fascinated with metaphysical related subjects. Because of my Grandmother’s wisdom and influence, practicing Classical Feng Shui has always been a family tradition and a lifestyle.  I was always taught with our environment, that we are only the guests, not the hosts. We must be respectful, and pay close attention to our surroundings – Mother Nature. When we treat it with respect, and follow the flow of nature, we will be nourished with joy and harmony. But, if we disturb it or try to change its course, nature can create havoc and bring destruction.

Growing up, I never thought that I could be a full-time Feng Shui consultant. I always pictured a professional Feng Shui Master as someone who is wise, philosophical, has lifelong wisdom and abundance of knowledge that I never thought I could emulate. Before my life in Feng Shui, I had 20 years of management experience in Food and Beverage. While managing projects for a big corporation, I would incorporate Classical Feng Shui principals into these projects, because of my upbringing with this knowledge. Although I was gaining valuable business experience and financial gains by working for a major corporation for many years, I was also not getting my spiritual needs fulfilled. I was craving for a change. With encouragement from my husband and my mother, I took a leap of faith and went back to school to study Feng Shui, to ultimately pursue Feng Shui as a full-time career.

Living in the U.S. for 30 plus years, Feng Shui allowed me to reconnect with my roots. This spiritual awakening enabled me to meet amazing teachers like Dr. Samson Cheung and Master Howard Choy, who have shared their ageless wisdom and abundance of knowledge with me.

Classical Feng Shui is still a fairly new concept in the West. It’s considered “New Age Practice” by many, but there is nothing “New Age” about it. Feng Shui has been around for at least 4,700 years. Historical records show Feng Shui practice was already in practice during the Yellow Emperor’s Era (2717 BC – 2599 BC).

There are myths, mis-understandings and mis-interpretations of what Classical Feng Shui is in the western part of the world. I feel that it is my duty to educate people what the true meaning of Classical Feng Shui is, and the beauty behind the practice.
